Profile Check
An Individual Has Chosen to Share Their CVGO Digital Information With You.
The individual has sent you this Profile Check link as part of an application, recruitment, work, procurement or compliance process.
It provides access to the information and supporting evidence they have selected from their live CVGO Digital licence for you to review. You will only see what the individual has chosen to share—not their complete private licence.

What Is Shared
What Has the Individual Shared With You?
This Profile Check will often have been sent as part of a job application. The individual can create a tailored CV using the current information held within their CVGO Digital licence, then select the supporting information and evidence relevant to that particular role.
Depending on what the individual has chosen to include, you may be able to review:
- Their tailored CV
- Personal profile
- Education and qualifications
- Skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours
- Work experience and references
- Software knowledge
- Certificates, licences, memberships and training
- Identification and right-to-work evidence
- Other relevant supporting documents
The individual may also use Profile Check outside a job application when selected information or evidence needs to be reviewed.
One tailored CV. Relevant supporting evidence. Only what the individual has chosen to share.
How It Works
How Profile Check Works
Profile Check brings the individual's tailored CV or application together with the supporting information they have chosen to share. It guides you through a structured review, records the information and evidence considered, allows an appropriate member of your team to contribute and provides templates to help you communicate what happens next.

Audit Trail
Responsibility, Accountability and Audit Trail
A Timestamped Record of What Was Reviewed, Who Reviewed It and How the Decision Was Reached.
Once a Profile Check is completed, a structured report is generated and sent by email. It identifies the individual and relevant role or application, who performed the check, what information and supporting evidence they reviewed, the actions they completed, the decision they recorded and the date and time of the review.
The report links directly back to the information as it appeared when the check was performed. The individual can continue updating their live CVGO Digital licence, but later changes will not alter the completed report or the evidence on which the original decision was based.
Any recorded expiry or renewal dates are also highlighted, helping the organisation identify documents that may require further checks or action.
By showing who performed the review and what their decision was based upon, Profile Check creates clear individual responsibility and organisational accountability. It provides a structured, traceable audit trail that can support due diligence, evidence-based decision-making and more transparent recruitment and procurement processes.
The licence remains live. The evidence reviewed, actions taken and decision recorded remain unchanged.

Recruitment Process
A More Consistent Recruitment Process
A Clear Auditable Process—Whoever Is Managing the Recruitment.
Recruitment is not always managed by a dedicated HR team. In smaller organisations, it may be handled by a business owner, administrator, contracts manager, site manager or supervisor. In larger organisations, different departments, locations or teams may each approach recruitment differently.
Profile Check provides one structured process through which the individual's tailored CV or application, supporting evidence, review activity, internal input, response and final report can be managed.
Built-in review questions help guide the person completing the check. Relevant information can be shared with an appropriate colleague, and response templates support clear, professional communication with the applicant.
This helps smaller organisations introduce greater structure without requiring a separate HR system, while helping larger organisations create greater consistency, responsibility and accountability across different departments and teams.
One structured process—supporting every organisation, department and reviewer.

Scope & Responsibility
Scope, Responsibility and Appropriate Use
CVGO Digital Provides the Structure. The Reviewing Organisation Makes the Decision.
Profile Check provides access to the CV, application information and supporting evidence selected by the individual. It guides the review process and records what was considered, who completed the check, the actions taken and the decision entered.
CVGO Digital does not independently confirm the accuracy, authenticity, validity or legal sufficiency of the information provided. The reviewing organisation and the person performing the Profile Check remain responsible for deciding what evidence is required, completing any necessary independent or statutory checks and determining whether the information is appropriate for the intended purpose.
Profile Check does not replace right-to-work checks, identity verification, safeguarding or DBS procedures, reference checks, competence assessments, procurement due diligence or any other checks required by law, regulation, organisational policy or the nature of the role.
The information has been shared by the individual for a specific purpose. It should only be accessed, used and shared with appropriate people involved in that process and must be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the reviewing organisation's own policies.
The timestamped report and structured audit trail can support transparency, responsibility, accountability and evidence-based decision-making. However, completing a Profile Check does not, by itself, establish legal, regulatory or Procurement Act compliance.
By continuing, you confirm that you understand the purpose and scope of Profile Check and accept responsibility for the review and any decision made.
