About Us

The World Has Gone Digital – Preparing Learners for Their Future Should Too.

Too many files. Too many systems. Too much to keep track of.

Schools and colleges work hard to prepare learners for further education, apprenticeships, employment and adult life. Yet the information that supports that journey—skills, achievements, qualifications, documents and applications—is still often scattered across folders, emails, devices and disconnected systems.

CVGO Digital was created to connect that journey. It gives each learner one secure, individual-controlled profile that can begin from age 14, continue beyond education and grow with them throughout working life.

Built to support education. Designed to remain with the learner.

The Lifelong Journey

One Profile. Every Stage of Life – From Age 14 Through to Retirement.

Education providers help learners build the foundations for what comes next. CVGO Digital gives that development somewhere to continue.

Starting from age 14, learners can begin recording their skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours alongside their achievements and qualifications—all within one profile that moves forward with them.

The journey can include the following:

  • Age 14 and school
  • College, university or training
  • Apprenticeships and early careers
  • Employment or self-employment
  • Progression, retraining or career changes
  • Retirement

No two journeys are the same. People may change direction, take career breaks, return to learning, develop new skills or pursue entirely different opportunities.

Instead of rebuilding their professional story at every transition, learners can continue developing one live record throughout life.

Education provides the starting point. The learner carries it forward.

Recognise. Record. Carry Forward.

Development Happens Everywhere.

Schools and colleges create valuable opportunities for learners to develop through lessons, projects, enrichment, volunteering, work experience, sports, clubs, part-time work, caring responsibilities and everyday participation.

Yet learners do not always recognise how these experiences translate into transferable skills, professional behaviours or future potential—or know how to explain them when an opportunity arises.

CVGO Digital helps learners connect what they have done with their skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours, record supporting evidence; and develop the language to communicate their development more clearly.

By making development more visible, learners can better understand their strengths, recognise areas for growth and prepare for their next step. When learners recognise their development, they are better prepared to communicate their potential.

Eight capabilities learners can recognise and record: Communication, Working With Others, Learning and Investigating, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Adapting, Digital Literacy, Planning and Organising, and Responsibility and Reliability.

The Challenge

Expectations Start Earlier. Preparation Should Too.

Young people are expected to manage qualifications, achievements, experiences, applications, documents and important decisions from an increasingly early age. CVGO Digital provides a clear structure, helping learners develop organisation, planning, responsibility and positive digital habits.

Better prepared. More confident. Ready for what comes next.

Three challenges. Fragmented: information, documents and achievements held in different places. Unprepared: uncertainty about what is needed and how to approach the next step. Impact: increased stress, missed opportunities and difficulty communicating potential. CVGO Digital helps learners develop the organisation, planning, responsibility and digital habits needed to move forward with greater confidence.

Privacy and Individual Control

Your Profile. Your Information. Your Decision.

Education Provider allocates the licence and has no automatic access. The Learner owns and controls the profile, choosing what is shared, who with and when. The Selected Recipient sees only what is shared and has no wider profile access. The licence is learner-owned, with no automatic access, shared by choice and private by design. Education enables access. The learner remains in control.

The CVGO Approach

Pause. Prepare. Proceed.

Opportunities and transitions can feel overwhelming, particularly when learners are unsure where to begin, what information is needed or what will happen next.

Pause. Prepare. Proceed gives learners a simple, repeatable approach they can use throughout education, employment and adult life.

Pause

Step back, read or listen carefully, ask questions and investigate what is needed before taking action.

Prepare

Plan and organise the task, gather the right information and evidence, consider the available options and prepare to communicate professionally.

Proceed

Use problem-solving and decision-making to take informed action, accept responsibility for the next step and adapt when circumstances change.

Used consistently, the approach supports learning and investigating, planning and organising, problem-solving and decision-making, communication, digital literacy, adaptability, responsibility and professional readiness.

CVGO Digital cannot remove every challenge, but it can help learners approach situations with greater structure, clarity and confidence.

A simple approach learners can use long after they leave education.

Why CVGO Digital Was Created

Recruitment Had Not Kept Up with a Digital World

CVGO Digital grew from more than 25 years of firsthand experience working in recruitment—supporting candidates, hiring for roles, working with clients and managing the complete journey from applications through to employment.

Despite how far the world had moved digitally, recruitment remained a fragmented process. People were still rebuilding CVs from memory, searching through files and folders, guessing what to include, losing track of applications and feeling uncertain about what happened next.

Online CV builders can play a useful part, but they address only one stage of that process. They still rely on individuals finding the right information, qualifications and evidence from folders, emails, downloads and different devices before they can begin.

The wider responsibilities also remain. Certificates, licences, memberships and other important documents may need to be kept current, renewed or checked for expiry. Covering letters, application tracking, employer responses, interview preparation, supporting documents and follow-up are often still managed separately.

The problem is not a lack of individual digital tools. It is the lack of one connected place bringing the complete journey together with continuing organisation, guidance and individual control.

For students, this fragmented process begins before their first job application. They are expected to recognise and articulate skills developed through education, projects, work experience and everyday responsibilities, then plan, organise and communicate their next steps—often without one continuous record or clear guidance to carry forward.

That is why CVGO Digital begins from age 14: helping learners build positive digital and professional habits before the pressure of major transitions and applications begins.

The result can be stress, incomplete applications, missed dates and valuable skills or experience being overlooked. People are expected to recognise and articulate their skills, plan and organise applications, communicate professionally and make important decisions while managing everything across a fragmented process.

Seeing two generations of family grow up in a digital world made that disconnect impossible to ignore. Four years of development turned those professional and personal experiences into CVGO Digital.

Created to connect the complete journey—not simply to build another CV.
